Every woman I work with has a story — and often, that story includes frustration.
They’ve tried different treatments, followed advice, and yet… something still doesn’t shift. Whether it’s anxiety, fatigue, emotional eating, or disrupted sleep, the cycle keeps repeating. That’s where the CONTROL System can make all the difference.
In this blog, I’m sharing three powerful case studies from women who used the CONTROL System to uncover and shift the subconscious patterns keeping them stuck — leading to genuine, lasting transformation.
CONTROL is a unique mind–body approach that works directly with the subconscious mind — without the need for trance or traditional hypnosis. It’s a structured system that helps identify and reprogramme the unhelpful subconscious responses driving unwanted behaviours, thoughts, and physical symptoms.
This isn’t about “positive thinking” or willpower. CONTROL goes deeper, creating lasting change by working with the part of your mind that governs your automatic reactions — the part that often holds onto outdated fears, protective mechanisms, or limiting beliefs.
After recovering from a viral illness, this client was left with debilitating fatigue, dizziness, and racing heart episodes — especially at work. She’d reduced her hours and developed intense anxiety about feeling unwell in public.
A self-identified perfectionist, she felt her body was failing her — and the fear of symptoms became as overwhelming as the symptoms themselves.
Through CONTROL, we worked directly with her subconscious to explore and reframe the protective patterns that had taken over:
One part was keeping her hyper-alert to any physical sensations
Another linked dizziness to danger
A third was keeping her energy low in an effort to protect her from pushing too hard
By understanding the intention behind these patterns — and giving them new, supportive roles — she gradually regained trust in her body. Her sleep improved, her anxiety settled, and she returned to full-time work feeling calm, capable, and in control.
This client had struggled with emotional eating and low self-esteem for decades. Despite knowing what she “should” be eating, food had become a source of comfort, guilt, and stress relief — especially after a long day or difficult emotional interactions.
Her childhood experiences played a huge role: a critical parent, food restrictions, and pressure to be thin created a subconscious belief that food was both scarce and shameful.
Using the CONTROL System, we helped her subconscious let go of outdated beliefs and replace them with new, empowering responses. She learned to:
Eat mindfully and stop when full
Enjoy food without guilt
Respond to stress with compassion instead of criticism
After our sessions, she no longer turned to food automatically in moments of stress. She enjoyed meals without spiralling into shame, and her self-confidence grew — especially when navigating family gatherings and social eating.
This client came to me with long-standing sleep disruption. She woke multiple times each night, felt unrested in the mornings, and had lived with anxiety since childhood — particularly around fear of death and “what if” thoughts before bed.
Traditional strategies like sleep hygiene and wind-down routines hadn’t helped. The root was deeper: her subconscious had created a pattern of waking as a form of self-protection.
Through CONTROL, we worked with her subconscious to:
Acknowledge and release long-held fears
Replace nighttime hypervigilance with safety and calm
Establish new mental routines that supported deep, restorative sleep
Initially, one method of communication worked, but stopped — so we adapted. That’s the power of the CONTROL System: it’s flexible, client-led, and never forceful. By the end of our work, she was sleeping through the night, managing daytime anxiety better, and finally felt emotionally balanced.
Each of these women came to me with very different symptoms — but they had one thing in common: their subconscious mind was trying to protect them, but doing so in ways that were no longer helpful.
The CONTROL System helps shift these automatic responses by working with, not against, the deeper parts of your mind. The result? Change that feels natural, empowering, and sustainable.
CONTROL may be a great fit if you’re struggling with:
Anxiety or overthinking
Sleep issues that won’t shift
Emotional eating or comfort behaviours
Fatigue, pain, or health symptoms with no clear cause
Feeling stuck, blocked, or like you're getting in your own way
You don’t need to live in survival mode — and you don’t need to talk through every detail of your past. CONTROL is focused, practical, and deeply respectful of where you are now.
If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, it might be time to work with your subconscious, not against it.
